The Last of the NYC by Night Postcards

This is the last of them.  I can't wait to make something using one of these.  They could be great place cards for the 4th of July or just an I Love NY party.

1882 Harper's Bazar

Today I have five images from the 1882 Harper's Bazar bound book I wrote about yesterday.  I am totally in love with the clothing from this year.  The styles are exquisite.    Each of the drawings are quite detailed.  So be sure to enlarge them in order to see all the features.

I love the parosol and fan in these two images.

I imagine wearing a bustle would be quite uncomfortable.  Not to mention the corset.  No wonder woman were so frail and had ailments back then( At least it looks that way from the ads. lol.).
